Rooftop solar for a factory.

The problem

Electricity was one of the factory's largest fixed costs and it rose every year, while a large roof sat in the sun doing nothing. The owners wanted solar but not the risk: unfamiliar vendors, unclear sizing, and nobody accountable if the system underdelivered.

Our approach

We started with the numbers: a load profile from the factory's bills, a structural and shading survey of the roof, and a system design sized to daytime consumption. We then selected and managed an installer against that design, from procurement and scheduling to installation, inspection, and commissioning, so the client had one accountable team from the first drawing to the first kilowatt-hour.

The outcome

The system was commissioned to the design we promised, with the client dealing with one team throughout. Daytime production now runs partly on the roof, the monthly bill reflects it, and the factory has a clear path to add monitoring and storage when it is ready.
