The problem

Shift changes at the factory meant long queues at fingerprint readers, cards swiped for absent colleagues, and attendance records that HR reconciled by hand days later. The site already had CCTV covering every entrance, but the footage was only ever watched after something went wrong.

02

Our approach

We connected the existing CCTV feeds to a recognition engine running on site. Workers are identified as they walk through the gate, the gate opens for them, and the shift record is written instantly. Every frame is processed on hardware inside the factory, so no video leaves the premises. Supervisors get a live dashboard of who is on site, late arrivals, and exceptions, with exports ready for payroll.

03

The outcome

The queue at the gate is gone. Buddy punching went with it, because a face cannot be lent. HR stopped reconciling attendance by hand, and the factory got real-time headcount from cameras it had already paid for.
